Whipsaw Brewing

It's hard to believe that a one-of-a-kind brewery like @whipsawbrewing could have begun with roots as humble as a Mr. Beer kit. The name whipsaw comes an old logging term/tool. It was a two-person saw that required a lot of teamwork. The saw represented the founders' hard work to make the brewery/taproom a reality, as well as representing their roots; Those roots consist of over 35 years of logging. • • • We limped our way into their taproom mid-afternoon on a Sunday after spending the weekend at the Ancient Lakes. We couldn't have made a better decision. This place was an absolute vibe. As soon as we drove up, we were blown away by their setup. They had an expansive patio with a variety of seating, most offering shade 😎 Inside, they had a large space with multiple tv's playing a good selection of games. The inside was mostly empty as the weather was a perfect "Wa 75" and everyone wanted to be outside. We chose to do the same. While there were had a flight & Pint. The brewery was nicely decorated with antique logging decor. Dogs are welcome both inside and outside on the patio. The bartender was attentive and kept the bar very clean. There was a food truck next to it that a lot of customers ordered from and brought the food inside. Whipsaw Hacksaw Hazy IPA was one of the best IPAs that I have tasted. It had a juicy flavor, fruity aroma and a well balanced hops taste. If I didn’t live hours away, I would be a regular there every week!
